FAQ / Shipping

Essential information about originals, availability, purchasing, shipping, and what to do if you have a question before buying.

Buying an original should feel straightforward.

Are these original paintings?

Yes. The available-art catalog presents one-of-one original works by David Thomas Hardy. They are not prints or reproductions.

How do I purchase a painting?

Use the purchase button on an artwork page to visit the Davidhardygallery Etsy shop. If the exact painting is not currently listed there, use the contact option and include the artwork title in your message.

How is availability confirmed?

Each painting is one of one. The website identifies works currently recorded as available, and final availability can be confirmed through the purchase or inquiry process before the transaction is completed.

How is shipping handled?

Shipping requirements vary with the painting’s dimensions, destination, and packing needs. Shipping arrangements, timing, and any destination-specific considerations can be confirmed during the purchase conversation before shipment.

What if I am outside the United States?

International shipping can be discussed before purchase. Destination-specific carrier options, customs requirements, and any applicable duties or taxes should be confirmed for the buyer’s location before the work is shipped.

What if a shipment arrives damaged?

Keep the artwork and all packaging and contact the seller promptly with photographs of the package and artwork. Purchases completed through Etsy are also subject to the transaction and buyer-protection terms that apply to that order.

Can I ask about a work before purchasing?

Absolutely. Use the contact page or the contact button on the individual artwork page and include the painting title so the inquiry can be matched to the correct original.
